24 Moab!
More words are coming. But as always, the 24 Hours of Moab was memorable, difficult, relentless, epic, and all together a fantastic season ending weekend. I was able to see old friends, make new ones, and get to know teammates better than ever before. Who knew riding solo was so anti-social? Being on a team this year left plenty of time to talk to, and enjoy the company of people I thought I knew. Good times in the desert….good times. A more detailed account of the race will come soon. Dave was actually in pretty good spirits when I shot this photo. The details are what I love about the shot, the multiple bikes and tires, the big bag of trash, the hood up on the car, and of course Dave hamming it up a bit.

that’s a great photo. it’s got everything you mentioned plus the colors are so bright it almost looks like a painting. did dave put on a bright orange shirt and teal sweat pants just for the photo op?
